Day temperature to fall further in Delhi

New Delhi, May 6

Delhiites will continue to enjoy a break from the scorching heat with meteorological officials Wednesday forecasting a further fall in day temperature.

The maximum temperature Wednesday will hover around 37 degrees Celsius, four degrees below the normal for this time of year. The minimum temperature settled at 24 degrees Celsius, an official at the Safdarjung met office said.

"Delhi will enjoy a pleasant weather with maximum temperature recording a downfall," the official said.

The day temperature has come down several degrees in past two days, bringing relief to the residents of the capital.

Light drizzle was reported from many places Tuesday due to upper cyclonic circulations.
