PM calls for 'new beginning'

New Delhi, June 1

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh called for a "new beginning" as he entered parliament house Monday for the first session of the 15th Lok Sabha.

He briefly addressed the media at the car park and said the new session should be a new avenue of parliamentary democracy and also called for a "new beginning".

He was received by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal, Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office Prithviraj Chavan and Minister of State, Planning and Parliamentary Affairs V. Narayansamy.
