'Kambakkht Ishq' scene shot in Jessica Alba's pool (Bollywood Snippets)

New Delhi, June 13

Producer Sajid Nadiadwala recently shot a scene for his film "Kambakkht Ishq" with 150 artists in Hollywood actress Jessica's Alba's swimming pool.

The film starring Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor boasts of international stars like Brandon Routh, Sylvester Stallone and Denise Richards.

"It is a well known fact that Denise Richards makes her Bollywood debut in the film. But, few know that her introductory scene was shot at Jessica Alba's pool. Jessica was present too. It was quite a thing to have two of the hottest women around," said a source from the unit.

The scene shows Denise throwing a pool party.

"Kambakkht Ishq" is all set to hit theatres July 3.

Actress Deepika Padukone, also a painter

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has revealed that she loves to paint in real life, just like her character in her upcoming film "Love Aaj Kal".

Deepika, who managed to make a couple of paintings during her free time while shooting, plays a fresco artist in the film.

"I love painting. I remember during my school days I would always get an A grade in art class," said the actress.

"There was a canvas and paint on the set; in between shots, I would make something. It was something very random. For me, painting is a form of relaxation and it's de-stressing," she added.

"Love Aaj Kal" directed by Imtiaz Ali is actor Saif Ali Khan's debut production.

Nandana Sen raises awareness about child abuse

Actress Nandana Sen, daughter of Nobel Prize winning economist Amartya Sen has committed to raising awareness regarding the widespread trauma of child abuse.

Nandana, who is the cause ambassador for NGO RAHI (Recovery and Healing from Incest), says that the healing of child abuse is often harder for men than it is for women.

"For males, the biggest obstacle is their reluctance to talk about it. In our society men have been conditioned to believe by definition they must always be aggressive rather than be helpless," she said.
