A 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her cousin and his friend in a Punjab village, police said Saturday.
"The accused took the victim to a vacant house on the pretext that her friends were waiting there for her. They managed to flee from the village after committing the crime," said Dalbeer Singh, station house officer of Kharar town, which is 10 km from here.
The incident took place in Chandu village near Kharar.
The two accused were identified as victim's cousin Manjit, 21, and Deep, 23. Both are residents of the same village and were familiar with the girl's family.
"Medical tests have confirmed the rape. Police are questioning the families of the accused and are raiding their possible hideouts," Singh said.
