Angelina Jolie was Hollywood's top-earning actress over the last year, earning an estimated $27 million between June 2008 and June 2009, according to Forbes annual Celebrity 100 list released Thursday.
Jolie's jackpot came mostly from last year's "Wanted" but also from a hefty advance for next year's thriller Salt, in which she plays a CIA agent accused of being a Russian spy.
Second on the list was Jennifer Aniston, ex-wife of Jolie's boyfriend Brad Pitt, who earned $25 million for her work in the romantic comedy Marley & Me and the upcoming comedy "The Baster".
Meryl Streep earned $24 million thanks to last summer's hit "Mamma Mia", while Sarah Jessica Parker came in fourth with $23 million for the big-screen debut of "Sex and the City".
In fifth place was Cameron Diaz, who earned $20 million , followed by Sandra Bullock ($15 million ), Reese Witherspoon ($15 million ), Nicole Kidman ($12 million), Drew Barrymore ($12 million ) and Renee Zellweger ($10 million).
