Bolt, Veronica to lead Jamaican challenge at World Athletics

Triple Olympic gold medallist Usain Bolt and two-time Olympic champion Veronica Campbell-Brown will lead the Jamaican challenge in the 12th World Athletics Championships next month in Berlin.

Bolt will look to repeat his Bejing success at Berlin while Veronica, defending champion in 100 metres, will be hunting titles in the 100m, 200m and 400m section in the tournament which will be held August 15-23.

A total of 46 athletes, including six individual Olympic medallists, will represent Jamaica in the World Championships.

The squad was selected on the basis of performance last month's National Senior Championships.
