A four-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a teenager in R.K. Puram in south Delhi, police said Thursday.
The incident took place Wednesday evening when the accused "lured the victim to a deserted place on the pretext of giving her sweets where he raped her", a police officer said.
When the girl didn't reach her home, her parents complained to police.
“The victim was found abandoned in a nearby area. She was taken to a hospital where medical examination confirmed rape. The accused, a labourer by profession, was nabbed and sent to a juvenile home,” the police officer said.
