The Indian challenge in the World Games squash competition ended when eighth seed Saurav Ghosal went down in four games to top seed Nick Matthew of England in the quarter-finals.

Ghosal Wednesday night put up a spirited fight but Matthew proved a difficult opponent and the Indian lost 4-11, 13-11, 9-11, 6-11.

Earlier, two other Indians Ritwik Bhattacharya and Joshna Chinnappa lost in the men's and women's singles, respectively.
