Garner unhappy with closeness between Affleck, Paltrow

London, July 24

American actress Jennifer Garner is finding it difficult to accept the closeness between her husband Ben Affleck and his former girlfriend Gwyneth Paltrow.

Affleck and Paltrow dated in 1998 before splitting the following year and starting their own separate families with new partners.

Paltrow is now married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and they have a five-year-old daughter Apple and three-year-old son Moses, while Affleck and Garner are parents to Violet (4) and six-month-old Seraphina.

Paltrow has maintained such a close relationship with Affleck that she sent him a personal letter congratulating him on his newborn child in January, causing his wife to get annoyed, reported femalefirst.co.uk

"Ben and Jen got one of Gwyneth's famous notes this year just after Seraphina was born. It was very nice, but it was a little too personal. Gwyneth made sure to mention how she was happy that Ben was finally creating the family he had always wanted, a family, which the two of them discussed in depth when they were dating,” said a source.

“Jen will always allow Ben to have contact and friendship with Gwyneth. But she doesn't always like it,” added the source.
