Bhopal, July 30

Junior doctors of five medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh returned to work Thursday, ending a strike that began 10 days ago for higher stipend and other demands.

The doctors announced an end to their protest Wednesday following talks with Health Minister Anoop Mishra, who promised to consider their demands sympathetically if they resumed work.
