Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey reportedly plans to shut down parts of a New York city highway next year for a huge block party to celebrate the 10th anniversary of her magazine.
The media mogul launched 'O, The Oprah Magazine' nine years ago and is planning a major party next May to celebrate the long-running title for which she is looking to shut down portions of the city's West Side Highway for a block party for all her fans in addition to a star-studded musical event scheduled at Radio City Music Hall, reports dailystar.co.uk.
A City Hall official confirmed that Winfrey has made permit enquiries for the event, but the star has so far refused to confirm any details.
Her spokesperson said: "While it is too soon to discuss specifics, we are looking forward to celebrating in a big way."
