Agra Mayor Anjula Singh Mahaur will walk the ramp along with actors Salman Khan and Sushmita Sen at a fashion show in New Delhi Oct 24. She is excited about it and says it will be a completely new experience for her.
Talking to IANS Mahaur said, "This would perhaps be the first time that a mayor of a city would be doing that."
Mahaur's two daughters - Sona, 16 and Tanishka, 9 - will also walk with her, while Sushmita will sashay down the ramp with her daughter Renee.
"I am excited and so is my daughter Tanishka who is dying to meet Salman Khan. I personally admire Sushmita. It will be a completely new experience for me," said Mahaur.
"So far I have been busy with politics but now I am trying to develop interest in other fields too. Of late, I have been doing some anchoring for a TV channel and judging talent hunt programmes. A film role has also been offered in 'Abhilasha'," she added.
Two years ago when Taj Mahal made it to the new seven wonders of the world, Mahaur went to Lisbon to receive the prestigious award.
