Healthcare firm Piramal Healthcare has posted a net profit of $25.39 million (Rs.114.22 crore) for the quarter ended Sep 30 as compared to $15.5 million (Rs.69.44 crore) earned in the like period last year, the company said Thursday.
Its total income increased to $158.1 million (Rs.711.6 crore) for the period under review from $141.5 million (Rs.636.9 crore) during the corresponding quarter last year, Piramal Healthcare told the Bombay Stock Exchange in a regulatory statement.
According to Piramal's unaudited consolidated results, the group posted a net profit of $23.62 million (Rs.106.3 crore) in the second quarter this fiscal, as against the $16.3 million (Rs.73.4 crore) earned during the like period last year.
