An undersea earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale Friday jolted the West Papua region in eastern Indonesia, officials said.
The quake occurred at 1128 GMT with the epicentre at 13 km southeast of West Papua and 23 km under the seabed, an official of the Indonesian Meteorology and Geophysics Agency told Xinhua. There was no report of damage or casualty.
