All Indians welcome to Madhya Pradesh: Chouhan

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan Friday clarified that he had never said people of other states should not come to Madhya Pradesh, and stressed that all Indians were welcome in his state.

In an official release from Indore, Chouhan said people from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab or any other region of India should come to Madhya Pradesh and will always be welcomed.

According to media reports, speaking at a public function in Satna, bordering Uttar Pradesh, Chouhan Thursday said that people from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh working in the industries created by the state was unacceptable.

He reportedly stressed that the state's youth should be trained and given preference in jobs.

Chouhan Friday clarified that he had said that the youth of Madhya Pradesh should be provided 50 percent jobs in the industries set up in the state.
