Jaypee Greens, part of construction major Jaiprakash Associates, has started construction of "Sports City", a township with residential and sports facilities, near the Yamuna Expressway here.
"The Sports City is positioned for everyone who appreciates luxurious surroundings and spaces equipped with sports and recreational facilities," Jaypee Greens said in a statement.
The City will have a motor race track, spread over 875 acres. This internationally designed track will have facilities to host a range of motor sports, the company said.
There will also be state-of-the-art sports stadiums for all major outdoor and indoor games, including a cricket stadium with capacity for over 100,000 spectators, besides hotels, restaurants and recreational facilities.
The Sports City will also have various residential districts which would be built by the company in phases.
It will also have a commercial business district.
