Sreesanth a surprise inclusion in Test squad against Sri Lanka

Temperamental fast bowler S. Sreesanth makes a surprise comeback in the Indian Test side after a gap of more than a year while a fit Zaheer Khan also finds a place in the 15-member squad selected here Tuesday for the first two Tests against Sri Lanka.

The national selectors also recalled left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha and Tamil Nadu batsmen Murali Vijay and Subramaniam Badrinath. Fast bowlers Ashish Nehra and Munaf Patel were left out.

Ahmedabad will host the first Test from Nov 16 while the second Test will be played at Kanpur from Nov 24.

Squad: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain-wicketkeeper), Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, V.V.S. Laxman, Murali Vijay, Subramaniam Badrinath, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh, Amit Mishra, Pragyan Ojha, Ishant Sharma, Zaheer Khan, S. Sreesanth.
