The state-run Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) is targeting an 8-10 percent sales growth this fiscal, company chairman S.K. Roongta said here Tuesday.

"We are confident of achieving 8-10 percent growth in sales over the period," Roongta told reporters on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum's India Economic Summit.

According to him, flat product prices would stabilize at prevailing prices after minor corrections.

"So far as long products are concerned, prices are quite low, (prices are) at what was prevailing one year back during the meltdown," he said.
