Zee TV synopsis for the November 2nd weekend, 2009

Saregamapa Mega challenge Telecast date: Friday, 13th Nov at 9:30 pm

The group songs of the both the teams this week -Raja Hassan's Rajasthan and Joy's Assam have been mesmerising. Special judges -Suresh Wadkar and Alka Yagnik encouraged the singers and were glad to witness performances of their favourite singers and L'il Champs. While Suresh-ji offered tips to super powers of Rajasthan -Priyanka Malya and Raja Hassan after their performance witnessed him awarding Abhigyan and Anamika of Assam with Rs. 500 for their excellent performance.

Both the captains have taken the regional fight way too seriously Raja and Joy had a heated discussion over which song to select for their jugal bandi as both know each others' strengths and weaknesses way too well. Suresh Wadkar who is well known for his sweet voice and humble nature, shocked everyone at the sets of SaReGaMaPa Mega Challenge where he had come as the judge of the week. He who generally sings melodious and religious songs surprised the audiences with a foot tapping performance on 'Raat Ke Dhai Baje' from Kaminey. Though out of character, everyone was happy to see a new side of this talented singer.

Movie: Badshaah Telecast date: Sunday, 15th at 7 pm

K. Jhunjhunwala would like to locate his missing/runaway daughter, Seema Malhotra, so that he can get her married to Nitin Dharampal; a prominent businessman, Mahindra, would like to negotiate with his daughter, Sonu's kidnappers, and secure her release. And the Central Bureau of Investigation would like to protect the life of Chief Minister Gayetri Bachchan under the mission code-named "Maa", and the CBI Officer in Charge to be code-named "Baadshah". Now Baadshah happens to be a bumbling and out of work Private Investigator, who has agreed to assist Jhunjhunwala and Mahindra, and while doing so is mistaken for the CBI Agent, ends up working for the assassins, and must assassinate Gayetri or end up losing his team of four fellow-bumblers, and Mahindra's daughter. What results is hilarious chaos, with no one knowing what the other is doing, and each one being each other's suspects. To make matters worse Jhunjhunwala is not really Seema's dad, but someone else with an ulterior motive.

March 22, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):Time and again it has been evidenced that when you are not having many expectations from an album, the soundtrack only ends up throwing a pleasant surprise. 'Paathshaala', which has newcomer Hanif Sheikh composing the music as well writing the lyrics, is one such album. Though one does expect good music from a Shahid Kapoor starrer, the genre of the film had suggested a few situational tracks which would only work with the narrative of the film.

March 22, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):Unabashed entertainment. That's what one expects from a team that comprises of the likes of Akshay Kumar, Sajid Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala. None of these three entities associated with 'Housefull' have made any pretensions of doing anything which is non-commercial. Due to this very reason, one can also expect that Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy would come out of their 'zone' (which means the likes of 'Rock On', Karthik Calling Karthik' etc.
