Four arrested in Delhi with fake currency

Four people were arrested in the national capital with counterfeit currency with the face value of Rs.1 million, police said Tuesday.

Working on a specific information, police arrested the men from Safdarjung Enclave in south Delhi Monday, a police officer said.

"The gang was smuggling the counterfeit currency from Bangladesh and circulating in India via a well organised network," Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Neeraj Thakur said.

Police are trying to locate other members of the gang.
