Poland coach Franciszek Smuda got his first victory against Canada Wednesday while South Korea's 27-match unbeaten run in international football came to an end with a 1-0 defeat to Serbia in a friendly match played in London.

Nikola Zigic netted the only goal of the game after six minutes to hand the Asians their first defeat since going down by the same scoreline to Chile Jan 30, 2008.

Maciej Rybus fired home after 18 minutes to hand Poland a 1-0 win over Canada in coach Smuda's second match in charge since taking over from interim coach Stefan Majewski last month.

Montenegro also needed just one goal to defeat Belarus, AS Roma striker Mirko Vucinic scoring the winner late on.

In other action, Iran and Macedonia played out a 1-1 draw.
