A teacher in an Uttar Pradesh school beat a Class 10 girl student with a duster on her knuckles for forgetting to bring her English notebook, fracturing her fingers, police said Tuesday.
A criminal case has been registered against the lady teacher who is absconding. The student of M.G.B Inter College in Ferozabad district, some 350 km from Lucknow, was hospitalised Monday.
