Sharing a tearful video on her social media account, Manjari recounted the horrifying sequence of events and revealed that Mikey, her long-haired community dog who had been living in the society since 2019-20 after being abandoned by his family, had suddenly gone missing.

She informed how the residents had launched an extensive search operation, and had even putt up posters and questioned security guards and staff in an attempt to locate him.

In the emotional video, Manjari said, "We had a dog called Mikey. He was abandoned by his family and he's been a part of our society since 2019 or 20. He was a really sweet dog. He went missing. We were all worried and we all tried to find where he is. We made posters, we put them everywhere. We've been trying to search for him incessantly."

The actress further stated that a person later allegedly confessed that Mikey had been attacked while he was sleeping near a basement area of the residential complex.

"He was sleeping quietly near one of our building basement areas and he was hit. He was hit with some big stick or iron rod or whatever. He was hit on his head and he got very disoriented. They dragged him into the staircase area between B1 and B2 and they hit him more. They hit him more till he was bleeding from his mouth," she alleged in the video.

Manjari further claimed that the injured dog was then placed inside a sack and thrown into a creek area behind the building.

"In a half-dead state, they just put him inside a goni and they threw him off into this khadi area behind. We're trying to search for his body right now," she said.

Expressing her anguish, the actress questioned the safety of community animals and appealed for justice.

"Supreme Court, you have given criminal minds like this. They feel safe to go illegal route and just eliminate dogs they don't like. Community dogs who are harmless, community dogs which are loved and taken care of. We used to take him home, give him a bath, groom him, detangle his hair and he was such a happy boy. He would come out from his bath and he would have zoomies around the house and run and run and run. He's gone," she said while breaking down.

Manjari has always been a passionate animal lover, and her social media posts speak volumes about the same.

Mumbai, June 9 (IANS) Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon shared a fun behind-the-scenes video montage from the sets of 'Cocktail 2', on Monday night.

She was seen expressing that she is still 'mentally:' immersed in the world of the film even after wrapping up of the shoot.

The actress dropped the vibrant reel on Instagram with the caption, "Ment-Ally still here...... Join the #Cocktail2 from June 19th in theatres."

The video shared by Kriti offers fans a glimpse into the making of one of the movie's energetic dance sequences which also features Kriti alongside co-star Shahid Kapoor. The footage, in large, appears to be from the shoot of the chartbuster track 'Main Nachu Jab Tak Tu Bole'.

The video captures candid moments, rehearsals, laughter-filled interactions, and the cast enjoying themselves between takes.

Kriti is seen sporting multiple glamourous looks. Shahid too is seen joining in the fun during many candid moments. The montage also showcases the festive beach-party vibe of the song.

A glimpse of co-star Rashmika Mandanna and director Homi Adajania is also seen in the video.

When asked what he loves most about living in New York City, Paul told 'Variety', "Well, it's the greatest city in the world. I mean, God, if you know you know, right? "I'm a sucker for New York City history. Anytime there's a documentary about New York or any book about New York history, I read it. When the Ken Burns documentary came out, I consumed it voraciously".

He further mentioned, "I just finished reading a book about the Brooklyn Bridge. The city itself puts all of us in our proper place, the city is bigger than all of us. It's good to live your life and feel a part of it and experience it but never feel bigger than it. This is a place where people from all parts of the globe from different backgrounds can come and do different things and be smushed together and somehow make it work. It creates an energy and attitude that really just clicks with me".

As per 'Female First UK', Paul is a huge fan of the New York Knicks basketball team, who have reached the NBA finals, and the actor would love to see them win the championship.

Mumbai, June 8 (IANS) Dhanush had a fanboy moment after witnessing the Netflix documentary "Rafa", based on the life of former tennis player Rafael Nadal.

In an emotional post on social media, Dhanush revealed that the documentary made him realize what the player went through throughout his journey.

Expressing his regret for all the times he lost his temper as Nadal lost a match or even a point, he wrote, "Watching this documentary and realizing everything you went through to give your all to the sport was overwhelming. Without knowing the pain, the stress, and the anxiety you were carrying, I regret all those times I shouted at the TV when you lost a point, a set, or a match: "Vamos Rafa, you could have done better." "Why are you making this so hard on yourself? (sic)."

The 'Tere Ishk Mein' actor shared that now he finally understands all the rituals and routines followed by Nadal, such as the perfectly placed water bottles, clearing the lines, adjusting the hair, and pulling the shorts.

She told Dexerto, "I was always pushing for Cindy to be classic MAGA rabbit hole. The kind of person that you saw outside of the Walmart during quarantine, that was raising some kind of crazy ass fuss. The actor said that the rumors were "never legit". He told GQ, "I've always felt that it's not a realistic thing. James Bond was written how he was written for a reason. But I was complimented by it. And also, I think, in realistic terms, some markets just don't go for that. James Bond is big all over the world. And (audiences) won't (all) go for a Black male, an African male, playing Bond. That's not what they like in their culture. Period".

He also said he doesn't necessarily think that James Bond should change, as he said, "James Bond is so unrealistic, so a hint of reality is good, but let's not try and make it woke. I think you've got to be pure to what it is: escapism. Don't try and answer the world's taste. Just be James Bond".

As per 'Variety', the rumour mill as to who will be the next Bond has been heating up as auditions have officially started.

Prolific casting director Nina Gold is leading the charge for Amazon MGM Studios, who took creative control of the franchise last year. The next Bond movie is set to be directed by "Dune" helmer Denis Villeneuve, and Variety has heard that he and the studio are looking for someone on the younger side to step into James Bond's shoes.

Tom Francis, the 26-year-old British actor best known for his Olivier-winning role opposite Nicole Scherzinger in the stage musical 'Sunset Boulevard', has already auditioned, a source told Variety last month. Their 1987 debut album, Appetite for Destruction, became one of the best-selling debut albums in history, driven by hits such as Sweet Child o' Mine, Welcome to the Jungle and Paradise City.

The band released the twin albums Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II in 1991. Their long-awaited album Chinese Democracy arrived in 2008 after years of development. Guns N' Roses were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012, the same year they performed in India.

Adding to the excitement for the project, the makers dropped the gripping teaser of the drama on Monday.

Directed by Abhishek Dogra, known for his work in "Dolly Ki Doli" and "FryDay", "Jeevan Bheema Yojana" features Sanjeeda Shaikh, Vijay Raaz, Pooja Chopra, and Bijendra Kala in key roles, along with others.

"Jeevan Bheema Yojana" deals with universal themes of greed, desperation, and love. Shedding light on the consequences of one seemingly perfect decision gone terribly wrong, the movie revolves around the life of Jeevan (Played by Arshad) and his wife Yojana (Played by Sanjeeda), a couple constantly struggling under mounting debt. However, their luck seems to take a turn when they discover Bheema, a stranger who looks exactly like Jeevan. What starts as a foolproof plan to fake Jeevan's death and claim an insurance payout soon spirals out of control when the man presumed dead turns out to have ties to a dangerous diamond-smuggling network.

Talking about his next, director Abhishek Dogra shared, "Jeevan Bheema Yojana is a film about ordinary people making one extraordinary, catastrophic decision and then spending the rest of the film paying for it. The genre is dark comedy, but the heart of it is very human. Greed, desperation, love, and the terrible momentum of a lie you can't stop telling. Arshad brings both men to life with a precision that constantly surprised us on set."

Backed by Anshu Mishra under the banners of Star Beam Ventures Ltd (formerly BlueGod Entertainment Ltd), the production work for "Jeevan Bheema Yojana" has already been wrapped up.

The project is slated to release this monsoon. However, an exact date has not been announced yet.

"So, there was nothing for me to even think twice about. I'm glad that people will watch it and they'll come to know who Xerxes Desai was because I had no idea that this was the journey of him as a character", she added.

Mumbai, June 8 (IANS) Tollywood star Ram Charan's younger sister and Megastar Chiranjeevi's daughter, Sreeja Konidela, got candid about her mental health struggle during a recent post on social media.

In a video uploaded on her official Instagram account, Sreeja revealed that for a long time, she allowed her identity to be defined by everything she had been through in the past. However, she recently chose to heal and come out of 'victimhood'.

Sreeja further admitted that she would often think about why she was going through all this.

She was heard saying in the clip posted on social media, "I was stuck in a space asking, why is this happening to me, and why am I going through so much pain? Why is there a struggle after struggle, and what did I do to deserve this? And in this journey, I moved from that space of victimhood and to understanding that life just doesn't happen to me, but I have the power to create it."

Sreeja added that for a large part of her life, her identity was shaped by her painful past.

"For most of my life, I identified myself with my pain, my past, my struggles. To me, my identity was shaped by everything that went wrong in my life. But through this program, I started to see beyond that. Yes, my pain is still a part of me, but that's not all that I am, and there is so much more to a person, and discovering those layers has been one of the most beautiful parts of this journey for me," she went on to add.

For the unversed, at the tender age of 19, Sreeja eloped with her 22-year-old boyfriend, Shirish Bharadwaj, in 2007. Mumbai, June 8 (IANS) Reliving some fond memories, Madhuri Dixit and Jaaved Jaaferi reunited to recreate their iconic song "Gabbar Singh Yeh Keh Kar Gaya" during a recent episode of the dance reality show "India's Best Dancer Season 5".

Host Harsh Limbachiyaa requested Madhuri and Jaaved to perform on the song from the 1991 film "100 Days". This was followed by a fun-filled and energetic performance as Madhuri, Jaaved, and the contestants came together to recreate the iconic track.

Following the performance, sharing an amusing back story of the song, Jaaved said, "Ye I think do rato mai kiya tha Chinni prakash sir ne choreograph, and uss vakt ye (Madhuri) kuch do teen shifte karti thi to rehearsal ka time to hota nahi tha, mai to naya naya tha to maine kaha sir rehearsal to kaha vo but jo set pe kiya vo result to dikhta hai, she is amazing aur unko rehearsal ki bohot kam zarurat hai. I know because maine do gaane kiye hai inke sath, without rehearsal at all, the way she performed was amazing (I think this was done in two nights; and at that time, she (Madhuri) would be very busy, so there wasn't time for rehearsal. I was new, so I asked sir, 'Where is the rehearsal?' But whatever was done on set shows the result—she is amazing and needs very little rehearsal. I know because I have done two songs with her, without rehearsal at all; the way she performed was amazing.."

Madhuri added, "Uss vakt ke liye bohot alag film thi because like mystery thriller aur bohot se log ahi jo aaj bhi mujhse kehete hain that was the first time I got so scared while watching a movie kyuki ismai sabhi characters itne acche se written ki pata nahi chalta tha who is the murderer aur there were a lot of scenes that were amazing aur ek aur gaana tha humara le le dil de de dil, vo karte hue bohot maza aaya tha. (It was a very different film for that time because it was like a mystery thriller and many people even today tell me that was the first time they got so scared while watching a movie because all the characters were written so well that you didn't know who the murderer was and there were a lot of scenes that were amazing and there was also another song of ours 'Le Le Dil, De De Dil', performing that was a lot of fun.)"

Jaaved then responded, "Obviously, this was more of a fun song."

Madhuri later agreed saying, "This was more like a mood, fun song dancy, dancy tha gaana."

Mumbai, June 8 (IANS) The biographical drama ‘Michael’ inspired by the life of pop legend Michael Jackson, reached movie buffs in April this year. Now, filmmaker Sanjay Gupta has demanded a biopic on the life of veteran Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty through his latest social media post.

Sanjay is of the opinion that Mithun Chakraborty's story also deserves a biopic, just like Michael Jackson. Stressing on the cinematic appeal of Mithun Chakraborty's biopic, the director pointed out that his journey, which started from a humble background and made him a massive name in Indian cinema, deserves its own screen adaptation.

Taking to his official X (Formerly known as Twitter) handle, the 'Kaante' maker wrote, “Just like MICHAEL, we have a star whose story demands to be told. Struggle. Sacrifice. Superstardom. A kid from Calcutta who had nothing but hunger and rhythm. Mithun Chakraborty. Mithun Da â€" your biopic is long overdue (sic)."

Talking about Mithun Chakraborty's inspiring journey, he graduated from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, in 1974.

He made his acting debut with Mrinal Sen’s "Mrigayaa" in 1976. His performance garnered a lot of praise, along with a National Film Award for 'Best Actor'.

Mithun Chakraborty reached new heights of fame with the 1982 release "Disco Dancer". Along with becoming a major success at the box office, it also ended up becoming a triumph in the Soviet Union.

Taking to her social media account, Hina shared a lengthy note urging her followers not to indulge in trolling or hateful behaviour, even while supporting her views. The actress, without taking any name, stressed that disagreements can be expressed firmly without crossing the line into personal attacks.

Sharing the message, Hina wrote, "We all make mistakes and we all evolve with time. I read some tweets here and there. I have always chosen kindness, love and humanity over hatred. If you are my fan and a well-wisher, I urge you to act with the same firmness and clarity. Without being hateful and curt towards others, without acting like mindless and conscienceless trolls. We shall not stoop low to make a point. We can do it without being inhuman or hateful. We can always put out our point but with a lot of grace and still be effective. Compassion and love should be our strength. If you don't do it and act like those who spread meaningless hatred and troll, I will block you, even if you are my fan. And I mean it. For the uninitiated, Hina's message comes days after she strongly criticised Shilpa Shinde over the latter's admission that she had filed a false sexual harassment complaint against 'Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain' producer Sanjay Kohli nearly a decade ago.

In April this year, the actress had shared a video of a bike trip she had undertaken during her solo trip to Chile. She also shared some lessons she had got to learn from the experience.

Taking to her Instagram page to post the video of her riding a Vogue Rally 300 during her solo trip, the actress had said, "Hi everyone, South America on a Vogue Rally 300, an experience that I never thought I would have and an experience that I'll never forget. I thought I would do this as a solo trip and it was a solo trip."

The actress disclosed that the plan was to go on a circuit and it involved about 20 kilometres off-roading on something called the Ruta del Toro (which is the route of the bull) , an old cattle pathway. Anu confessed that the Ruta del Toro portion was a tough ride.

"I think for an experienced dirt biker, Ruta del Toro would probably be beginner level or maybe lower intermediate level. For me, it was advanced level because I don't mind the gravel and the stones because on the gravel, I was fine. On the stones, I just stood up and rode. What was most challenging were the U-turns and they are uphill U-turns. And here is the thing, they are on loose mud," she had explained in the video.

The actress cited two important take aways she had got from the biking trip. While the first pertained to figuring out the techniques she used and what techniques she must have used for negotiating the U turns, she said that the other lesson that she took away from this trip was that sometimes our potential was much more than what we think it was.

The actor spoke with IANS during the promotions of his recently released streaming show 'The Pyramid Scheme' along with Ranvir Shorey, Shreyansh Pandey and Paramvir Cheema.

Shekhar told IANS, "The saints, Baba ji, Fakir, not all, but many, they fool people, make them blind devotees. Later, they are caught, they go to jail. Still, there is no shortage of Babas. New Babas are being born, new devotees are being born. They are becoming fools every day".

He then went on to narrate a story about a Godman and his followers, as the latter duped him. He said, "So, there was a Baba, a devotee came to him. The devotee was of the same kind of character, which is my character in the show. He said, 'Baba, I am a great devotee of yours. And I have been following you for many days. And I think of you, you've changed my life. You have given me a very good blessing. I want to give you Rs. 25 lakhs'. After he left, Baba told his devotees, 'He was a great man. He came to meet for the first time, gave Rs. 25 lakhs'. The second time he came, he gave Rs. 50 lakhs. The third time he came, he gave Rs. 1 crore".

He further mentioned, "The fourth time he came, he gave Rs. 2 crore. Baba said, 'He is a great person. Call him, I want to talk to him'. So Baba told him, 'What do you do?' He said, 'I have a great scheme. This is a pyramid scheme type, someone must have told you. And if you put money in, it doubles at the end of the month. I have so much money, Maharaj. And because I am your devotee, I wanted to offer it'. Baba said, 'If I give, will you double it?'. Now Baba was sitting on a pile of black money. He called him and gave him Rs. 500 crores".

The actor shared that the guy took the money, and never came back. "So his investment was only Rs. 2-2.5 crores. He took that Rs. 500 crores. Baba can't even go to the police because it was black money. So schemes like this, at different levels, all kinds of schemes are going on. At small levels, you will see in the villages, such schemes are there, that you invest this money, this will happen, invest here, that will happen. You have to be extremely careful of not falling into such traps", he added.
