Each of us has had a mini breakdown but we all feel really positive now. It was a strange, hard time".As per 'Female First UK', Sophie is currently working on Tomb Raider, a new TV series based on the beloved video game series and she admitted her character Lara Croft is "so different" to her in her real life. She said, "(Lara Croft) is so different from me and my personality, without giving too much away, there is an element of her that can be fairly toxic, but there is also an element of her that is so focused and determined, whereas I have ADHD and can't complete a task without forgetting about it and doing something else. I am a total worrier and neurotic which she obviously isn't, but we're both obsessed with history".Sophie dismissed the idea of taking a method acting approach to her work, insisting being a parent means it is impossible for her to fully absorb herself in a role. She added, "Kristen Stewart once said that only men are method actors".

Varun reveals how father David Dhawan roasted him for his smile

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan, who is receiving positive response to his recently released film 'Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai', has shared how his father David Dhawan roasted him. The director also wanted the audience to enjoy the joke at his son's expense by using the joke in his film but eventually didn't use it.

The actor recently appeared on comedian Tanmay Bhat's show, and spoke about being made fun of because of his side smile.

When asked if he anticipated being trolled for his smile, Varun said, "No, I thought I would be made fun of because of something else. I never thought anyone would make fun of this. I thought there are so many things (for which he could be trolled) like my voice, for instance. I would literally sound like an 8-year-old girl, initially. That's what my brother used to tell me, when I made my debut, I thought voice, height, bad acting, etc. I didn't think the smile was so bad".

However, the actor turned out to be a good sport, as he appreciated the jokes around his smile, as he said, "I think after a while, it became funny. It actually became funny for me.
Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan, who is receiving positive response to his recently released film 'Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai', has shared how his father David Dhawan roasted him. The director also wanted the audience to enjoy the joke at his son's expense by using the joke in his film but eventually didn't use it.The actor recently appeared on comedian Tanmay Bhat's show, and spoke about being made fun of because of his side smile. I didn't think the smile was so bad".However, the actor turned out to be a good sport, as he appreciated the jokes around his smile, as he said, "I think after a while, it became funny. It actually became funny for me. I found the biscuit one very funny".He then went on to reveal how his father came up with the idea to make fun of his smile."There's a joke in my new film, which my dad wanted to do on me.

Actress Anu Haasan, who is also the niece of popular star Kamal Haasan, has now disclosed why she wants to keep organising women only trips.

Taking to her Instagram stories section, Anu Haasan cited a Wall Street Journal report that claimed that women talk more freely about being afraid, sad, frustrated and jealous and that sharing those feelings deepened bonds.

Citing the report that claimed that close ties were good for women and provided health benefits, Anu Haasan said that this was of the reasons why she wanted to organise women-only trips.

She wrote, "One of the reasons I keep wanting to organise women only trips... Is this!"

She then quoted a passage from a Wall Street report which said, "Women connect more frequently with their friends on a weekly basis than men. While men talk about sports and current events, women dive into personal realms like family and health, physical and mental. They talk more freely about being afraid, sad, frustrated and jealous. Sharing those feelings deepens bonds. Close ties are good for us and provide health benefits. Having someone you can rely on and trust reduces stress and enhances well-being."

The actress then went on to say, "Love that the previous two trips to Kaziranga has formed these friendships for those who travelled us with us. I'm looking forward to our next one this December."

In April this year, the actress had shared a video of a bike trip she had undertaken during her solo trip to Chile. She also shared some lessons she had got to learn from the experience.

Taking to her Instagram page to post the video of her riding a Vogue Rally 300 during her solo trip, the actress had said, "Hi everyone, South America on a Vogue Rally 300, an experience that I never thought I would have and an experience that I'll never forget. I thought I would do this as a solo trip and it was a solo trip."

The actress disclosed that the plan was to go on a circuit and it involved about 20 kilometres off-roading on something called the Ruta del Toro (which is the route of the bull) , an old cattle pathway. Anu confessed that the Ruta del Toro portion was a tough ride.

"I think for an experienced dirt biker, Ruta del Toro would probably be beginner level or maybe lower intermediate level. For me, it was advanced level because I don't mind the gravel and the stones because on the gravel, I was fine. On the stones, I just stood up and rode. What was most challenging were the U-turns and they are uphill U-turns. And here is the thing, they are on loose mud," she had explained in the video.

The actress cited two important take aways she had got from the biking trip. While the first pertained to figuring out the techniques she used and what techniques she must have used for negotiating the U turns, she said that the other lesson that she took away from this trip was that sometimes our potential was much more than what we think it was.

Anu confessed that the Ruta del Toro portion was a tough ride."I think for an experienced dirt biker, Ruta del Toro would probably be beginner level or maybe lower intermediate level.

Actor Shekhar Suman, who is cooking up a storm with his new chat show, is getting bolder with each passing day. This time around, the actor fired shots at self-proclaimed Godmen, and said how every few years a new Godman emerges, and people go to them in full awareness, and allow the godmen to make a fool out of themselves.

The actor spoke with IANS during the promotions of his recently released streaming show 'The Pyramid Scheme' along with Ranvir Shorey, Shreyansh Pandey and Paramvir Cheema.

Shekhar told IANS, "The saints, Baba ji, Fakir, not all, but many, they fool people, make them blind devotees. Later, they are caught, they go to jail. Still, there is no shortage of Babas. New Babas are being born, new devotees are being born. They are becoming fools every day".

He then went on to narrate a story about a Godman and his followers, as the latter duped him. He said, "So, there was a Baba, a devotee came to him. The devotee was of the same kind of character, which is my character in the show. He said, 'Baba, I am a great devotee of yours. And I have been following you for many days. And I think of you, you've changed my life. You have given me a very good blessing. I want to give you Rs. 25 lakhs'. After he left, Baba told his devotees, 'He was a great man. He came to meet for the first time, gave Rs. 25 lakhs'. The second time he came, he gave Rs. 50 lakhs. The third time he came, he gave Rs. 1 crore".

He further mentioned, "The fourth time he came, he gave Rs. 2 crore. Baba said, 'He is a great person. Call him, I want to talk to him'. So Baba told him, 'What do you do?' He said, 'I have a great scheme. This is a pyramid scheme type, someone must have told you. And if you put money in, it doubles at the end of the month. I have so much money, Maharaj. And because I am your devotee, I wanted to offer it'. Baba said, 'If I give, will you double it?'. Now Baba was sitting on a pile of black money.
