The actor expressed his thoughts saying that every generation grows up watching its own stars, and it's not their responsibility to be aware of the existence of veteran stars.

Speaking exclusively to IANS, Harsh shared his perspective on young people, these days, not identifying veteran actors, stating that he does not take it personally if someone doesn't know him.

"They are not supposed to recognise us at all. Why should they? Today, if a 20 year old is watching today's actors, then according to him, I have gone 30 years ahead. If he has not seen my work, then he has not seen it. It is not his responsibility. If he does not know me, then he does not know me."

Calling the discussion unnecessary, Harsh reflected on his own experience when he first entered the entertainment industry.

"So, I think, personally for me, it is a useless fight that you do not recognise so many senior people. When I came to the industry for the first time, because Dilip Kumar was a big star, that is why I knew Dilip Kumar and Rajendra Kumar. Otherwise, I did not know the rest of the people who were working with them. Because they are people who are 40 years ahead of me."

He further recalled that the biggest stars of his time were actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna and Rishi Kapoor.

"When I came for the first time, I had Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna, Rishi Kapoor. So, for me, that is hardly an argument. Or senior actors, let's say."

The actor went on to say that while many audiences have now discovered him through 'Undekhi', there is nothing wrong if others are still unfamiliar with his work.

"It is true that I am doing Undekhi and Undekhi has become very popular. So many people have seen Undekhi. There are many people who have only seen Undekhi and have now started knowing me. But if they did not know me, then they did not know me. It is not their responsibility to know me. If they have not seen my work, then how will they know me? And if they are watching, then they are watching the work of contemporary people."

On the work front, Harsh was last seen in the fourth season of 'Undekhi', where he reprised his much-acclaimed role as Papaji. The crime thriller continues to be one of the most appreciated web series in recent years.

During Ameesha's recent appearance on the dance reality show India's Best Dancer Season 5 as 'Gadar' director Anil Sharma shared a special message for the actress.

The filmmaker looked back at the making of 'Gadar' and recalled how sincerely Ameesha prepared for her role as Sakeena.

"Every scene of Gadar, every scene of Sakeena, you had rehearsed with me hundreds of times. Your scene with Maulvi where you said, "I can't even take poison and die. Because I know that Tara will come and he will find me and call me," you had done that scene so well. You had performed so well," he added.

Sharma further shared that Ameesha's performance moved everyone on the sets.

"I know that all the people there had tears in their eyes and everyone had applauded. Ameesha, you are always our family and you will always be our family."

Remembering the first time he met Ameesha and praising her timeless charm, Sharma said, "Whenever I see you (Ameesha), I remember that moment when I met you for the first time. It feels like time has stopped and you are still standing there.You have not come out of there. You are not able to understand any problem. You used to look so good then and you still look so good today. Why? I am not able to understand anything."

Talking about the iconic movie, 'Gadar' it released in 2001, and featured Sunny Deol as Tara Singh and Ameesha Patel as Sakeena.

The film, set during the Partition of India in 1947, told the story of a Sikh truck driver who falls in love with a Muslim woman from an aristocratic family and brings the world down to get her back from Pakistan to India.

The movie went on to become one of the biggest blockbusters in Hindi cinema back in the early 2000s.

The movie's scenes of Sunny Deol uprooting a local handpump and fight sequence in the train during the climax are still considered iconic even today.

Songs like 'Main Nikla Gaddi Leke', 'Udd Jaa Kaale Kaanwa', 'Hum Juda Hogaye' amongst others went on to become chartbusters.

The actress who recently appeared on the dance reality show, 'India's Best Dancer Season 05', recalled the incident staring that Farah Khan, the choreographer of the iconic song, thought she was fat for the song.

Host Haarsh Limbachiya asked, "Shilpa ma'am, I got to know one thing. The iconic song, Chaiyya Chaiyya, you were supposed to do it, initially."

Recalling the incident, Shilpa said, "Yes, actually Farah had come with the song and she said, 'this is the song, but I willl give you 15 days. Reduce your weight.' So I ate boiled vegetables for 15 days. But I might have lost weight, but it wasn't less as per Farah. So she came back and said, 'sorry, but you're still fat. We can't take you for the song,' and then the song happened with Malaika (Arora). I mean, I'm not lying. I was fat, so I didn't get the song and Farah says, I was 100 kilos. I wasn't 100 kilos."

The revelation left everyone on the set surprised. Adding a lighter touch to the conversation, Shilpa turned to judge Geeta Kapur and said she had witnessed the incident herself. Geeta, smiling, replied, "I was an assistant."

Praising her honesty, Haarsh Limbachiyaa remarked, "I have to admit one thing. She's so selfless and so honest. No one calls her a heroine on national TV."

Talking about Shilpa Shirodkar, the actress has been a part of many successful films and television projects over the years.

In the 90s era of Bollywood, Shilpa was considered as one of the hottest actresses and was a part of many hit movies like Him, Kishan Kanhaiya and many more.

The Rolling Stones frontman was having trouble coming up with a name for the group's 2023 record, Hackney Diamonds, so turned to the technology, and while it only offered "rubbish" suggestions, that gave the 82-year-old star more confidence in his own ideas, reports 'Female First UK'.

Asked if the group would use AI to write songs, Mick told Sunday Times Culture magazine, "AI is a whole other conversation. The only time I used it was when I was looking for album titles for Hackney Diamonds, which was actually, I suppose, at the beginning of AI. Because no one could agree, and I threw all these titles at it, and it came back with such rubbish, it didn't help me at all".

He further mentioned, "I was saying, 'These are my 12 album titles, give me some more', and of course in the end we never used any of them. But it can unstick you, and you think, 'OK, that was rubbish', or 'Mine are loads better than yours'. It gives you confidence".

As per 'Female First UK', despite his recognisable tone, Mick's bandmate, Keith Richards, thinks the frontman expresses himself better on harmonica than with his vocals.

Keith said, "Mick expresses himself on harmonica probably in the fullest way that he can, even better than as a vocalist".

The instrument is used to great effect on the band's new album, Foreign Tongues, on a cover of Amy Winehouse's 'You Know I'm No Good'. Ronnie Wood was a friend of the late singer, who died from accidental alcohol poisoning in 2011, aged 27, and he is still saddened by her passing.

He said, "She would go, 'Oh Ronnie, what am I going to do?' I said, 'Look, everyone knows you've got vodka in the water bottle. Get it together and get on stage.' "But if you could get her up there and she stayed there, it'd be great. I'm sad because she didn't do her full span. It was like saying goodbye to Billie Holiday again".

Keith regrets never getting to know the Rehab singer, though they played together at the 2007 Isle of Wight Festival.

"I was always sort of 'well, I'm bound to meet her down the road'. You expect things to happen, and unfortunately no. But that's what records are for. I'm just very glad and honoured to have played with her at least once", he added.

It might be exciting to know that Diljit seemed to have already predicted this.

As he was interacting with the netizens during an Instagram LIVE after the release of 'Satluj', someone asked him if he fears that the film will be taken down.

Reacting to this, he said that he is, in fact, scared. Diljit also expressed surprise that the project reached the OTT platform. "Today is Saturday. I feel it could be taken down by Monday. But no worries, you download it," Diljit predicted.

Kapil asked Sanjay, "When you told your father that you wanted to be an actor, how did he react?"

"What do you think being an actor is easy?," he had told his son.

Sanjay confessed that he actually wished to become an actor as he thought that it would help him escape his studies.

"Okay, so you want to become an actor. Get up at 5.00 am in the morning tomorrow. You will do riding practise", Sunil Dutt instructed Sanjay.

Only after 6 months of being in the movies, Sanjay changed his mind and told his father, "Papa, can I please go back to college?"

Once, Sanjay recalled how his father was like a 'Hitler' on the set.

Sharing an episode from the Kashmir schedule of the movie, Sanjay said, "Dad had already placed the shot, and his assistant came to me and said, "Go and eat your food". When I told him, "But it is not break yet", he said, "No it is break time, go and eat."

While Sanju was having his food in the restaurant, people came running and told him, "Dutt Sahab is shouting."

As Sanjay returned to the set, he got an earful from his father.

"How dare you go and eat when the entire unit is standing here? Have you become a star already?," Sunil Dutt scolded Sanjay.

However, when Sunil Dutt later asked his assistant, "Did you tell him to go and have food?", he simply denied, putting the blame on Sanjay.

Actress Elli AvrRam, who also attended the wedding festivities, treated her Instagram family with an adorable picture with the bride.

Host Simi Garewal asked Vinod Khanna, "In June 1978, when you were at the peak of stardom, you had a family of your own. At a press conference at Natraj Studios, you announced your decision to quit and join OSHO. What made you do that?"

He shared that his mind was on overdrive and he was not in total control of his emotions anymore, hence he decided to dive deeper into meditation, and to live at the feet of his Guru was the only option.

Vinod Khanna was heard saying, "My own mind was thinking too much. My mind was, you know, very hyper. My thoughts were all over the place. I was very angry. I think I'd reached a saturation point. You know, people can press your buttons and make you react. You know, your emotions, anger, everything, everything is not under your control. You know, but yet I used to be able to see that, yes, when I meditate, these things don't affect me at all. You become the master of your own mind. And these were the things that drove me to say that, "Okay, I've had enough of films, I've given enough of time, I've made enough money, and I felt that now, if I really want to go deeper into meditation, I need to give my full time to it". You know, I have to live in an ashram, I have to live at the feet of my guru. So, obviously, you know, there was a need within me."

When asked if he considered it an abnegation of duties towards his family, he replied that he was very much in touch with his family.

"It's not that I've run away. I was in touch with my family. I was providing everything," he added.

Before Anshula ties the knot with fiancé, Rohan Thakkar, the Kapoor clan celebrated her Chooda ceremony, a significant pre-wedding ritual in the Punjabi culture, symbolizing the bride's transition into married life.

As part of the tradition, the bride-to-be tries to drop the Kaliras attached to the chooda on all the unmarried youngsters of the family. It is believed that if the Kalira falls on someone, that person will be getting married shortly.

Going by the pictures uploaded by Anshula on her Instagram handle, the Kalira fell on Arjun and Shanaya Kapoor. In one of the pictures from the album, both of them can be seen flaunting a piece of the Kalira in front of the camera.

The playful pictures showed Anshula trying to put the Kalira on all the single Kapoors, from Arjun, to Shanaya, to Khushi, and even Orry.

In an emotional post, the bride-to-be penned on social media, "Chooda. Kalire. Blessings. (red heart emoji) The moment it all started to feel real. Mumbai, July 5 (IANS) Actress Divya Khossla penned an emotional note on social media as she remembered her late mother Anita Khosla on her third death anniversary on Sunday. 

Divya shared that with every passing month, it becomes more difficult for her to live without her mother.

She added that although her mother made her strong enough to face any battle, living without her is the toughest battle she has ever had to face.

Divya wrote a heartfelt note on Instagram that read, "My mamma…I miss u … 3 yrs today. They say that time heals it all, but as more & more months pass, it becomes more painful to live life without u. Your world was all about me. From being my emotional support, u left me so strong that I can face any kind of battle all on my own without even a tear falling from my eye, yet living without u is the toughest battle. (sic)"

Revealing how she misses her mom, she went on to add, "Still The strength in me is you . U live in me in so many unexplained ways…. Yet I still miss u terribly, coz now I can’t just pick up the phone & vent to u. I miss u mamma terribly terribly. Till we meet again really soon my love (red heart emoji)."

Divya shared the unfortunate news of her mother's passing away on July 6, 2023, through an Instagram post.

"Mamma...Lost my mom sometime back leaving a forever void in my heart...I carry with me your immense blessings & moral values my most beautiful soul .. So proud to be born out of you...I love you mumma...Om Shanti……Daughter of Anita Khosla," she had written.

Work-wise, Divya was last seen in the black comedy thriller 'Ek Chatur Naar' co-starring Neil Nitin Mukesh.

Directed by Umesh Shukla, the project reached the audience on September 12 last year.

As Salman appeared on 'The Kapil Sharma Show', host Kapil asked the 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' actor, "Aamir sir ne abhi sabko apni girlfriend se introduce karaya hain aur aap to unse 6 mahine chote bhi ho. Wo ruk nahi rahe, aap kar nahi rahe (Aamir sir just introduced everyone to his girlfriend and you're even 6 months younger than him. He's not stopping, and you are not getting married)."

To this, Salman gave a hilarious reply saying, "Dekho yaar Aamir ki baat hi kuch aur hain. Aamir hain ek outstanding personality. Puri duniya jalti hain that he is a perfectionist. Meanwhile, Aamir got married for the third time to his ladylove, Gauri Spratt in a registered ceremony on Sunday at his Bandra residence in Mumbai.

The intimate ceremony was attended by the couple's close family and friends.

Aamir's three children from his previous marriages, Azad Rao Khan, Ira Khan, and Junaid Khan, his son-in-law Nupur Shikhare, his mother were also a part of the intimate celebration.

Refreshing your memory, Aamir had introduced everyone to Gauri on his 60th birthday in March last year.

'The Bride' director is keen to explore the many sides of women and the "whole spectrum" of their emotions, reports 'Female First UK'.

She said that she wants to do this in order to give female audiences characters they can relate to because everyone is flawed.

Speaking at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival, she said, quoted by 'Variety', "I'm not really that interested in 'strong female characters'. I'm interested in a depiction of women that I can recognise as something that has to do with my own experience, which usually includes some strength, some terrible weakness, some beautiful weakness and vulnerability, some pleasure, some terror, the whole spectrum".

Maggie doesn't believe she is breaking taboos with her work but can understand why it seems that way because there are relatively few films made by women compared with the work of male directors.

She said, "For most of the time that people have been making movies, they have been made by men. There have been some fascinating female characters (created by male filmmakers but) I think if you're living a very different experience fundamentally as a male filmmaker. I don't see how you have insight into all of a feminine experience, especially the parts of ourselves that we are ashamed of, that we hide that we don't like to share".

Asked if she is trying to break down barriers, she added, "No, I'm just trying to make space for my own experience to be expressed, to make space for (The Bride's) Jessie Buckley's experience to be expressed, to make space for my production designer's experience to be expressed. It's not that I'm interested in (breaking) taboos, I think it just comes off that way because there's been so few [women] making movies, and so it seems like these things are off-limits. It's just they haven't been explored. And I did not expect to make people so angry by exploring them".

As per 'Female First UK', the 48-year-old star is always open to ideas from her cast because she often felt directors weren't interested in her interpretations and her "art" when she was acting.

She said, "Part of the reason why I moved into being a writer and a director is because I found that many directors were not interested in my art, my expression if it looked different than what they imagined when they were home in their room. I got very good at figuring out ways to protect the little bit of real estate around me. But then I got tired of having to like do that dance, and I thought I need more space. Not only do I want the freedom to express myself, I want to offer that freedom to other artistes".

While appearing on "The Kapil Sharma Show", Bazmee revealed how he managed to convince a serious actor like Nana Patekar to play the hilarious don Uday Shetty in his film.

Bezmee shared that Nana told him, "I do not want to hear any script or anything. Swear on your mother that this film is good for me"

"How long will it take to narrate the script?", Nana added.

To this, Bazmee replied, "I can narrate it in 3 hours, in 30 minutes, and even in 3 minutes".

After hearing the script for 3 hours, Nana simply hugged Bazmee and said, "I am like raw clay, will come to your set, shape me however you like".

Bazmee further confessed that he has always been a big fan of Nana and believed that when he would do comedy, he would end up teaching a lot of people how comedy is actually done.

Bazmee added that he had a great time working with Nana in "Welcome".

Later in 1977, Hema Malini even went on to lead a movie named "Dream Girl", co-starring Ashok Kumar, Dharmendra, and Prem Chopra, along with others.

Helmed by Pramod Chakravorty, the movie shares the tale of a young woman (Played by Hema Malini), who pretends to be five different people in the film â€" Sapna, Padma, Champabai, Dream girl, and Rajkumari, to steal money in order to maintain a home for orphans.

But if there's something from my personal life like my battle with endometriosis, that I know could genuinely help someone out there, I will most definitely share it".

She went on, "One of the reasons I'm putting in the effort to write this instead of simply posting a picture is because I'll know how many people are actually willing to slow down, read through it, and decide to stay, maybe even engage! Speaking to fellow contestant Delbar Arya, Sohail recalled breaking down after doctors told him that they might lose him.

For those who do not know, in February this year, veteran writer Salim Khan underwent a month-long hospital stay after suffering a brain haemorrhage.

Pouring his heart out, Sohail revealed the reason he spends most of his time with his parents.

He was heard saying, "My maximum time is spent with my parents because I genuinely believe that time is the most valuable thing you can give somebody. Mere bache hai lekin woh young hai aur unke pass bahut time hai but my parents are old now and that I would like to spend with them."

Sohail added that when his dad went into a semi-coma, the doctors told them that they might lose him, and hearing this, his heart sank immediately.

He revealed, "Actually I fear, when my father got unwell, a couple of weeks back he was hospitalized and he went into a semi coma...and I was staying with him in the hospital my heart sank and the doctor said you might lose him, I was like my father, my mother, somebody who are very dear to me... and I said that agar daddy ko kuch ho gaya toh matlab I don't know how I'll operate because for me my parents are my life, everything."

Recently, the entire Kapoor clan got together to celebrate Anshula's Mehendi, glimpses of which are doing rounds on social media.

On Sunday, the bride-to-be expressed her heartfelt gratitude to her sisters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor for making her Mehendi a memrable one.

Dropping some fun snippets from the wedding celebration, Anshula wrote on her Instagram, "The colours, the chaos, the love, and a heart completely full...@janhvikapoor and @khushikapoor, thank you for giving me a mehendi beyond what I could have dreamed of!Every thoughtful touch, every beautiful corner, every moment reflected the love and care you poured into making it so special. The greatest gift was that I could simply be present, soak it all in, and feel completely celebrated because you had taken care of absolutely everything. (sic)."

Showering her love on Janhvi and Khushi, she added, "Thank you for giving me one of the happiest days of my life. I love you both endlessly."

Mumbai, July 5 (IANS) Season two of the reality show 'Lock Upp' has been constantly making headlines. During the latest episode, contestant Madhuri Jain Grover, wife of businessman Ashneer Grover, shared something from her personal life, which did not sit well with the netizens.

In an attempt to save herself, Madhuri revealed that she and her husband Ashneer wanted to have a third child. However, their families did not support the idea, and hence, they decided to drop it. By the time they finally made up their mind to have another kid, it was too late for them.

Although the secret itself was not what led to the backlash, it was what she said later that raised several eyebrows.

Madhuri was heard saying, "The third child keeps you younger. If you see all the rich people, including Shah Rukh Khan, they have a third child.
