Maoists gunned down in Chhattisgarh, Orissa

Koraput / Raigarh, January 28 (ANI): Security forces gunned down two hardcore Maoists in Orissa, said a top police officer on Friday. In insurgent dominated Koraput district of Orissa, acting on a tip off police raided a hideout in a forest area and shot dead Chitrakam Reddy alias Sitru, 30, and his wife during a gun battle while the other rebels managed to escape. Meanwhile, in Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh too, security forces gunned down one insurgent in an encounter.
