Modi begins 'Sadhbhavana' fast
Godhra, January 20 (ANI): In a bid to soften his image as a hardliner blamed for 2002 communal riots, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today began his 23rd 'Sadhbhavana' fast, as part of his 'goodwill mission in Godhra. The fast is seen as a bid by Modi, along with his party the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), to launch him as the national leader. However, even before the harmony fast could begin, social activist Shabnam Hashmi and five others of NGO Anhad were detained for organising convention 'In search of Justice'.
