Police official injured in gun battle with Maoists

Gaya, January 25 (ANI): A police official was injured during a gun battle with Maoists at Maigara village in Gaya district of Bihar on Tuesday. The Roshanganj police Station House Officer, Dinesh Mahto, got a bullet injury in his thigh while heading an operation against the Maoists. He was immediately rushed to the local hospital. Earlier the COBRA battalion, Special Task Force and local police got a tip off about the movement of about more than 200 Maoists in the area and launched an operation.
