Punjab polls: PM attacks SAD govt

Amritsar, January 21 (ANI): Stepping up attack against the Shiromani Akali Dal led Punjab government, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today said the state doesn't remain first ranked anymore due to its misrule. Addressing a rally at Amritsar, Dr. Singh said the Congress led Haryana, which started developing simultaneously with Punjab has left the SAD BJP ruled state behind. Trying to strike a personal chord with the people of Punjab, Singh added that he has long cherished memories with the state. Punjab is one of the five states, where state assembly polls would be held on January 30.
