Rushdie to address JLF through video link
Jaipur/New Delhi, January 23 (ANI): As per reports, Booker Prize Winner Salman Rushdie might address the ongoing Jaipur Literature Festival through video conference on Tuesday. However, reportedly the Rajasthan government would allow his address only after the author assures them that he would not read any passage from his banned book The Satanic Verses Rushdie claimed yesterday he was belied by the Rajasthan Police about security threats; an allegation that the Chief Minister of the state, Ashok Gehlot has refuted.
