War of Words in poll bound UP

Kanpur/Azamgarh, January 14 (ANI): As the state assembly election nears in Uttar Pradesh, the war of words has escalated between leaders of various political parties in the state. Senior Congress leader Sriprakash Jaiswal strongly rebutted the remarks made by BJP leader Maneka Gandhi that the promises made by Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi are merely confined to polls. Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav slammed the Congress for its doublespeak on Batla House Encounter.
