Majorda Village is located in close proximity to the beach. Most of the households in the village make delicious baked breads and is their main source of earning. Majorda Village is renowned for its bread baking industry and some of the key ingredients used here are not found elsewhere. The famous ‘Goan Toddy’ that is a fermented bread made using sap of coconut palm, was also made here for the first time.
Maede Deus Church is a beautiful church located close to Majorda Beach. Built in the year 1588, it was destroyed and built again in 1739. This church is one of the prime attractions around the beach.
Monte Hill Chapel is located atop Monte Hill and is a must visit destination from Majorda Beach. This chapel was built during the 16th century and offers spectacular view of the countryside.
Vasco Da Gama is the largest city in Goa named after the famous Portuguese explorer. This place is worth visiting for the architectural work of the old monuments and modern buildings.
Utorda Beach is located at a just a kilometre from Majorda Beach and a favourite tourist spot. This beach is particularly famous all over Goa for the scrumptious Goad food available at the beach shacks.
