From the times of its establishment, this small fort passed the hands of several rulers, until it was acquired by Britishers in 1815.

Morni Hills has three very famous manmade lakes namely, Bada Tikkar, Tikkar Tal and Chotta Tikkar. These lakes are a popular tourist attraction and have the most serene surroundings. These lakes are also an ideal spot for camping.

If you are looking for some fun, visit the Adventure Park that is located amidst the twin lakes of Tikkar. This man made park was established by the working Government and is favourite spot among tourists. The Adventure Park has several activities and rides for kids. You must also visit the waterfall located at Thalapur that is very close to the Park.

The Temple of Holy Trinity is another religious destination in Morni Hills located close to the banks of the lake. This temple is one of the oldest temples and according to the locals there was initially a Lord Shiva temple at this very location.

The Gurudwara Nada Sahib is a chief religious site for Sikhs. This place holds significant importance among locals as well as visitors.
