On reaching the Vagator Beach you must definitely visit the two beautiful water springs located at the beach. ‘Zor’ is a fresh water spring that is situated in the ‘Little Vagator’ beach also called as ‘Orzan’ beach. The other water spring is located at the northern end of the Vagator Beach.

The Portuguese Fort of Chopara is a historical destination from Vagator Beach that is around 500 years old. The beauty of this ancient fort attracts visitors to this place. You must also visit the Chopara Village to get an insight into the life of the locals here.

Mapusa is a popular city in Goa that is located at a distance of 9 kms from Vagator Beach. This place is famous for its Friday Market and the ancient Kansarpal-Kalbadevi temple. Mapusa is located at close proximity to beaches like Candolim, Anjuna and Chapora.

Siva Murti is the face of Lord Shiva carved from a rock and located close to Vagator Beach. It is a colossal structure carved out of the rocks during the time of Portuguese rule.
