Abhijeet Sawant beaten up by crowd in Mumbai

Mumbai, December 01 (ANI): Furious locals on Tuesday night roughed up first Indian Idol and now Bollywood singer, Abhijeet Singh who was spotted brawling for his friend Prajakta Shukrey, who rammed two boys in Mumbai. Shukre was driving her car and ran over a scooter, grievously injuring the rider and the pillion. The injured boys, identified as brothers Toufiq Khan (19) and Tauhid Khan (14), were rushed to Nanavati Hospital and are undergoing treatment. However, speaking to mediapersons, Rajeev. S. Chwahad, assistant sub inspector assured that Sawant was not being involved in the accident and was not present in the car, which hit the boys.
