Actor Joy Mukherjee passes away

New Delhi, March 9 (ANI): Bollywood veteran Joy Mukherjee, who acted in films like "Love in Simla", died at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on Friday. The 73 years old actor was admitted to hospital in a critical condition on Monday and was put on a ventilator. He died due to prolonged illness and old age. Paternal uncle of actors Kajol and Tanisha Mukherjee, late Joy Mukherjee's last screen appearance was in the TV series Aye Dil e Nadan in 2009. Mukherjee stepped into showbiz with 1960 hit film "Love In Simla". His popularity soared with projects like "Shagird", " Love In Tokyo", "Ziddi", "Phir Wohi Dil Laya Hoon" and "Ek Musafir Ek Hasina".
