Chennithala observes daylong fast

Thiruvananthapuram/ Idukki, December 8, (ANI): President of the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC), Ramesh Chennithala observed a day long fast as a mark of protest against the ongoing Mullaperiyar Dam row in Thiruvananthapuram today. Other political leaders like senior Congress party leader M M Hasan and state legislator K Muraleedharan also joined in the fast to show support to Chennithala in the agitation. While interacting with mediapersons, Chennithala urged the central government to persuade neighbour Tamil Nadu to cooperate to reach a permanent amicable solution.
