Citizen journalist 'Omar the Syrian' killed in Homs

 
 

"Omar the Syrian" was the pseudonym of Mazhar Tayyara, a citizen journalist who contributed to AFP. He was hit by nighttime shelling in Homs late on Friday and died from his wounds the following morning. A voiced AFPTV report. Duration: 00:53
