FDI row: Traders call for Bharat bandh
Mumbai/Lucknow, December 1 (ANI): Trade unions and other organisations have called for all India strike today, to protest against the government's decision of allowing FDI in multi brand retail. Traders' associations have claimed that more than 10,000 unions with a combined strength of around five crore traders will participate in the shutdown, demanding a rollback of the cabinet's decision. The opposition Bharatiya Janata Party has backed the Bharat bandh.
