Geetika murder case: Kanda in Custody
New Delhi, Aug 18 (ANI): Former Haryana Minister, Gopal Goyal Kanda who is accused of abetting the suicide of former air hostess Geetika Sharma has been remanded to 7 days police custody. Kanda was produced in a Delhi court, following his arrest by the Delhi Police in the wee hours today. The former minister was earlier taken to the Babu Jagjeevan Hospital for medical examination. The police had however sought 14 day custody of Kanda in order to interrogate him. Kanda is charged with abetment to suicide, criminal intimidation, criminal conspiracy and destruction of evidence.
