Genelia D'Souza and Ritesh Deshmukh are supposedly engaged in a private ceremony which was held sometime ago. Apparently only relatives and very close friends were invited for his very private ceremony which was held at the house of Vilasrao Deshmukh who is also former Maharashtra Chief Minister and father of Ritesh Deshmukh. It has been widely rumored that the couple of Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza are planning to tie the knot very soon. However, this engagement news comes as a shock to even people in the industry as no one from the industry was invited to this private ceremony. Genelia D'Souza and Ritesh Deshmukh are supposedly dating each other for the last eight years. However, the couple have always been very private about their relationship and have not revealed anything in public. In spite of them being tight lipped there were rumors about their relationship and marriage due to the type of chemistry the couple shared both on and off the scree. They were spotted often at social events, red carpet functions, premiers, and parties together. Although the parents of Ritesh Deshmukh were initially against the marriage of Geneila D'Souza with him they had to give in due to their perseverance.
