Govt carries out development work in Maoist afflicted regions of Gaya
Gaya, June 06 (ANI): To ensure that villagers are not enticed by Maoists, regional authorities in Gaya district of Bihar carry out development work, providing improved irrigation facilities under government funded schemes. Speaking to mediapersons, Om Satyam Bedi, a member of the NGO 'Samavaya Tirtha', highlighted the significance of the rainwater harvesting project, being sponsored by National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) under the Integrated Wasteland Development Programme (IWDP).
