High competition will improve Luka s Olympic prospects: P T Usha
Hyderabad, June 26 (ANI): Iconic athlete P T Usha wants to intensify the level of competition for her prot g Tintu Luka as she gears up for the 800 meters at the 2012 London Olympics. Usha said that Luka needed to compete against European athletes to test her skill and stamina as competition at the national games, where she bagged gold was not enough. However, Usha does not want to put more pressure on Luka. Luka, 22, was the first Indian athlete to qualify for the track and field events at the London Games and is being viewed as a strong contender for podium finish.
