Inflation Cools In October
Producer prices fell 0.3% percent in October, marking the first decline in four months. Despite economic woes, shoppers hit the stores and opened their wallets in October. According to the Commerce Department, retail sales jumped 0.5% last month. The economy continued to weigh on Wal Mart customers during the third quarter. Meanwhile, earnings from Home Depot came in ahead of expectations.
