Jagjit Singh in ICU after brain haemorrhage operation

 
 

Mumbai, September 24 (ANI): Acclaimed Ghazal singer Jagjit Singh underwent surgery at Mumbai s Lilavati Hospital on Friday after suffering a brain haemorrhage. The condition of the 70 year old maestro was described as 'critical' after the operation, and he is currently in the intensive care unit (ICU). However, Jagjit's close associate Virendra Shankar later informed that the singer's condition was under control.
