Maoists kill TMC worker

Jhargram, January 30 (ANI): Suspected Maoist ultras gunned down a worker of the Trinamool Congress party in Jhargram district of West Bengal on Sunday. The worker was picked up by the ultras late at night from his home and shot dead. Namita Mahato, a local woman, told Asian News International that the body of the TMC worker was found near the railway tracks. The villagers were in a state of shock and have been staying indoors since the incident took place.
