MIM chief seeks Jagan s support for Pranab in prez poll

Hyderabad/ Chandigarh, June 20 (ANI): As the race to Raisina Hill gains pace, leader of regional All India Majlis E Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) party chief Asaduddin Owaisi met the chief of regional YSR Congress party, Jagan Mohan Reddy, in Hyderabad s jail where he urged him to support Pranab Mukherjee as a presidential candidate of Congress. The meeting comes after YSR Congress party s formidable win last week in most of the 18 assembly seats where, by polls were recently held and in one Lok Sabha seat in Andhra Pradesh. Speaking to mediapersons, Owaisi told reporters that he has requested Reddy to support Congress party candidate, Pranab Mukherjee.
