NE natives remonstration against SMS circulations from Pak

Guwahati/ New Delhi, Aug 19 (ANI): Natives of Assam today protested over the circulation of bulk messages sourced from Pakistan that triggered exodus of thousands of people hailing from various parts of northeast across the country. The protestors shouted anti Pakistan slogans and demanded immediate arrest of rumour mongers. Meanwhile, Cyber experts have urged people to be more aware of cyber crime and asked them not to believe in any kind of rumours online or through phone messages. Home Secretary Raj Kumar Singh today disclosed that Pakistan is the origin of the bulk of and MMS transmissions that prompted exodus of thousands of Northeastern people to their native place and create fear psychosis among them.
