Occupy Wall Street protestors returned to New York City Thursday, re occupying the park from which they were evicted, but failing to disrupt trading at the New York Stock Exchange. In Australia, President Obama reiterated his pledge of heightened U.S. presence in the Asia Pacific region. In Washington, a suspect was under arrest in the firing of gunshots at the White House.
