Pakistani FM says no "dilution" on core issues with India
Islamabad, March 2 (ANI): Pakistan's Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar has said the decision to normalise trade with India should not be considered as a softening of Pakistan's stand on core issues with the neighbouring country. Pakistan's cabinet approved a proposal to ease trade with India by switching to a negative list based import regime and following it up with a Most Favoured Nation (MFN) trade status by the end of the year. However, there was skepticism in Pakistan about the move with many hardliners accusing the government of reneging on Pakistan's stand on the long standing Jammu and Kashmir issue.
