Police arrest students during a raid at hookah bar

Pune, April 28 (ANI): The Maharashta police today raided a hookah bar, which was running illegally in Pune, and arrested 22 college students. Senior police inspector Bhanu Pratap Bagri, said apart from 22 students, 17 hotel staff members have also been arrested who served hookahs. Maharashtra Home Minister R R Patil had earlier said that the state government was likely to impose the ban on hookah bar by this year. According to the World Health Organisation, a 45 minute hookah session is equivalent to 50 tobacco cigarettes.
